I read on someone’s social media that their friend had the flu. “You should try euthanasia”, they advised.
They meant echinacea.
Words matter.
My own grandmother, Mom Mom Green, was in the checkout line at the supermarket. She called it, “The American Store.” We called it Acme.
Anyway, the lady in front of her was complaining about a stiff neck and Mom Mom told her she needed to see a psychiatrist. The conversation ended there. Later Mom Mom realized she meant to say chiropractor.
Words matter.
I saw this online: How to cook crack and eat crabs.
Punctuation matters too.

Mom Mom. A great Grandparent name! My wife and I wanted to be Gpa and Grand Boo. We ended up being PaPa and Boo Boo.
That's good stuff! I listen carefully to words and have had lots of laughs at someone else's expense when they use the wrong word. That may not be the most spiritual use of my time but it's been fun!
