Some good advice.
Somebody told me once that I shouldn’t pinch pennies on the three things that separate me from the earth.
They are:
good shoes
a good mattress, and
good tires
Think about it.
Your shoes – Good footwear supports your body, protects your feet, and affects your posture and long-term joint health.
Your bed (mattress) – You spend about a third of your life sleeping, and a quality mattress directly impacts your rest, recovery, and spinal health.
Your tires – On your car, bike, or other vehicle — they’re literally the only part in contact with the road, affecting safety, performance, and fuel efficiency.
I’m a fan of buying cheap, buying used, buying generic…except for shoes, mattresses and tires.
If it separates me from the earth, I’m buying the best I can afford.

My nickname (no pun intended) is “Cheap and Cheerful” so thanks for the advice.
Good footwear is often overlooked in early childhood development when that is a vital age for bone and muscle development.
