Mug shot.
I retired from radio about a year and a half ago.
And this photo sums up how that’s going.
Allow me to zoom in to the top row.
That’s “The Bridge Morning Show with Bill & Denise” official coffee mug. Once coveted by the masses. Now relegated to the used cup rack at the Salvation Army Thrift Store.
I went from Mornings to the bargain bin in 18 months.
I went from being on The Bridge to being thrown off one.
My legacy faded like the last song at the top of the hour. I offered to sign it, and they marked it down.
It was chipped, dusty and cheap. Kinda like me these days.
Nothing says impactful career more than finding your old morning show mug at a thrift store and buying it yourself.
Somebody had to.
(Yes, I am completely poking fun at myself, and this post, like much of my radio banter, is intended to make you smile. Julie actually saw this mug at the Milford Salvation Army thrift store and snapped the photo and sent it to me because she knew I would laugh. Hopefully you did too.)

We had a good run, Bill;) I’m sure the mug donation to the thrift store was accidental.
I had that mug once. I was one of “the masses.” 😁
