Julie.
My wife is celebrating a birthday today. It’s one of those milestone ones.
I won’t say which one, but it rhymes with Bubble Pickles.
My wife
Likes pretty things.
Can see something beautiful in every day things that others can’t see.
Likes dogs more than people.
Sneezes when she puts peppermint chewing gum in her mouth.
Loves her family more than anything.
Is naive.
Looks like her dad. Walks like her mom.
Is sentimental.
Likes to celebrate birthdays.
Is a good gift giver.
Loves a bargain. Even if she doesn’t need it.
Has superhuman powers when spotting things at a yard sale.
Likes Michael W Smith and the Carpenters and I like to make fun of her for both.
Likes bread more than sweets.
Doesn’t like seafood, coffee, or meatloaf.
Can’t say the word valentine. (she says “valentime”.
Is one of the worst multi-taskers I know, but one of the best at laser-focus on something to get it done. And done right.
Like to decorate, especially for Christmas.
Is a loyal friend.
Survived breast cancer.
Likes the Eagles, Phillies and Flyers.
Doesn’t mind this particular birthday because she now qualifies for a discount at Goodwill.
Puts up with a lot being married to me.
Deserves this to be a wonderful day.
Happy birthday, Julie!

I hope her birthday was as beautiful as she is.
