—I seem to get these “we’ve updated our privacy policy” email notices every day. Why do they keep changing their minds about privacy? Does anybody read those things?

The same with automated voice systems when you call a business. Their menu options have changed. Again?!

My favorite is the pop up asking me if I will accept cookies. Look at me. Do I look like I accept cookies? Of course I accept cookies.

—Did you know there is a Color of the Year? The Pantone Color Institute chooses a color every year and this year’s color is “PANTONE 17-1230 Mocha Mousse, a warming, brown hue imbued with richness.”

Some say, “Mocha Mousse, is a warm, soft brown that reminds us of a beverage we want to drink, a dessert we want to indulge in.”

Others say, “I’m so mad about this color of the year, because it means the sad beige influencers are vindicated. Crafting can and does follow some of the predicted trends, and as someone who loves color, I’m not looking forward to this Pantone prediction for trends.”

I say, “I’m colorblind and some days I’m glad.”

I’ve never been mad about a color.

Spoiler Alert: Transformative Teal leads the way as the 2026 Color of the Year. I’m sure that will offend somebody.
